welcome to our little workshop. our story may sound familiar but, it is so immeasurably & incredibly special to us. in 2020, we took a deep dive into our soul & after a life of dipping our toes in every koi pond, river, & ocean in sunny southern california…we found our calling in carpentry.
after rebuilding parts of his father’s childhood home, carpenter, cali, started Cali Woodworks LA or CWWLA.
it’s 2022 now and here you are! we can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are that you have found us and chosen to support our small business.
cali makes everything in small batches from our home base (& hometown) in the beautiful foothills of Los Angeles.
just as in nature, each Cali Woodworks LA piece is one-of-a-kind. each item is handcrafted with the utmost love & care making every heirloom piece worth your patience.
cali produces sustainably-sourced wood heirloom pieces in Los Angeles. we obsess over the small things & only allow our finest items to leave the shop. we have a buy-me-once mindset but, hope you’ll be back!
we constantly strive for our pieces to reflect our love of woodworking - knowing that our pieces will land in your hands and in your home. ultimately, we want to continue to push the boundaries of what carpentry looks like in a new era while maintaining the integrity of this centuries old craft.
